Valentine’s Day is coming up and I’ve got a refreshing mocktail that’s going to make any celebration even more special – the Love Blossoms Mocktail. It’s quick, bubbly, and so delicious. And it’s super easy to make with just a handful of ingredients! LaCroix Cherry Blossom was my inspiration with its light and floral profile.
I recommend fresh cherries, but frozen cherries work in a pinch. I love the flavor and pink hue of berry tea, but get creative and use other flavors like raspberry, citrus, or other herbal teas! Honey adds a hint of sweetness, and balances out the tang of the tea and fresh squeezed lemon juice. An egg white creates the luxurious froth to really impress your Valentine! Cheers to love!

This Valentine’s Day mocktail is so easy to make! You’ll want to have your tea brewed and chilled ahead of time. Start by adding fresh cherries and honey to a cocktail shaker and muddle until the cherries are broken down, releasing their flavors.
Then, add the berry tea and fresh lemon juice. Next strain to remove any solids and return the mixture to the shaker. Add an egg white and ice to the shaker, and shake until the mixture is well chilled. Remove the ice and shake again until the mixture is foamy. Pour into a coupe glass and top with LaCroix Cherry Blossom sparkling water. For a gorgeous finishing touch, add a few cherries and edible flowers!
Why the egg white in the Love Blossoms Mocktail?
Egg white creates a delightful frothy top, but if you’re vegan or just don’t have any, aquafaba (the liquid from a can of chickpeas) works as a substitute.
What can I use as a substitute for LaCroix Cherry Blossom if I can’t find it?
If you can’t find LaCroix Cherry Blossom, try another berry-flavored or cherry-flavored sparkling water.
What kind of edible flowers work well for garnishing?
Edible flowers like pansies, violets, or nasturtiums work beautifully as garnishes.
What adjustments can I make if I find the mocktail too tart or too sweet?
If it’s too tart, add a bit more honey to balance the acidity. If it’s too sweet, increase the lemon juice to add more brightness and cut through the sweetness.
Can I use a different type of honey in the mocktail?
Yes! Feel free to experiment with different honey varieties like wildflower honey, clover honey, or even a local honey.
