If you love a spritz you’ll also want to try my Lambrusco Spritz, Amalfi Spritz (Peach Limoncello Spritz Cocktail), and Cranberry Aperol Spritz.

If you love to mix and mingle after a meal, then this cocktail is for you. Amaretto, a natural digestif, adds a rich nutty flavor, balanced by the tart lemon juice, and the sweet sparkling Prosecco. Top off with some bubbly sparkling water and garnish with some dehydrated citrus and thyme for a beautiful aromatic touch. Simple, yet easy-to-make, the Amaretto Spritz is gorgeous and flavorful, making it impossible for your guests not to be wowed!
After a gals brunch or a dinner party with family or colleagues, the last thing you’ll want is more dishes and cleanup. The Easy Amaretto Spritz takes just 5 minutes to make and can be stirred inside each individual glass. No elaborate set up or expert mixology skills needed here! Just a night continued with good conversation, cocktails and company.

- Amaretto: Choose a quality amaretto. For this recipe I chose Disaronno.
- Lemon juice: Always use fresh-squeezed lemon juice.
- Prosecco: Prosecco works great in this recipe. Any sparkling wine will also work.
- Sparkling water: Any plain sparkling water will work. You could use lemon flavored sparkling water as a substitute.
- Dehydrated citrus: Use for garish if desired. Try dehydrated blood orange slices, dehydrated lemon slices, or dehydrated orange slices.

Frequently Asked Questions
An Aperol spritz is made with Aperol and an amaretto spritz is made with amaretto. Aperol is an aperitif, made to enjoy before a meal, while amaretto is a digestif, made to enjoy after a meal.
Yes! Amaretto is considered a digestif, to consume after a meal. It is meant to aid in post-meal digestion and settle your stomach.
Like its cousin, the Aperol spritz, I recommend using Prosecco. Not only does it balance and give the drink a sweet note, it’s the perfect sweet treat to end a meal.
