For the Cocktail
- Empress 1908 Indigo Gin: The butterfly pea blossom in the gin creates a beautiful and bright purple color for the cocktail.
- Cointreau: Triple sec works great too.
- White cranberry juice: The white cranberry juice lets the color of the Empress really shine. White cranberry juice is more mild than tangy red cranberry juice, which adjusts the flavor profile of the drink. If you add red cranberry juice you may want to adjust the sweetness to taste.
- Lime juice: Always use fresh squeezed.
- Club soda: Or sparkling water.
- Pomegranate seeds: Use for garnish as desired
For the Snow Globe Ice
- Rosemary sprig: Fresh rosemary.
- Cranberries: Ideally fresh, but frozen would also work
- Water: For freezing the snow glob presentation

Tips for Making a Cosmo in the Snow Cocktail
- Make sure all ingredients are chilled ahead of time to ensure the cocktail is cold and crisp.
- Prepare the ornaments in advance and store them in the refrigerator. This saves on time and with it being chilled, will keep the cocktail colder longer.
- Use a stemless wine glass. The round shape and wider bottom are perfect for creating the winter wonderland in your glass. Plus, glasses with stems don’t do well in the freezer, they are more susceptible to falling over and breaking.
- Mocktail Version: Eliminate gin and triple sec. Add 3 oz white cranberry juice and 1/2 oz lime juice to the ornament. Optionally, add 1 oz butterfly pea tea and a drop of orange blossom water.
