How to Make the Peppermint Espresso Mocktini

Start by creating a decadent rim for the coupe glass. Dip the rim into chocolate syrup, then into the Great Value Peppermint Crumble until it’s generously coated.

Next, in a cocktail shaker, combine chilled espresso, heavy cream, simple syrup, pure peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and ice. Shake until the mixture is chilled.

Strain the mocktini mixture into the prepared coupe glass with the Peppermint Crumble rim. If you’re feeling extra festive, garnish with a mini candy cane for that added holiday charm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute the chocolate syrup?

Absolutely! While chocolate syrup adds a delightful sweetness, you can experiment with other syrups like caramel or even skip it for a less sweet mocktini.

Why use chilled espresso?

Chilled espresso ensures that your mocktini is refreshing and doesn’t get diluted by the ice. It also enhances the overall experience by providing a bold coffee kick.

How do I make simple syrup?

Making simple syrup is a breeze. Combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves. Once dissolved, let the mixture cool, and then transfer it to a container for convenient use in cocktails and recipes.
