Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- Unexpected flavor: The tangy pickle juice is fun, briny and goes really well with tequila.
- Low carb: No added sugar but still fun and flavorful.
- Easy to make: Made right in the bottle with simple ingredients.
Recipe Ingredients
See the recipe card for quantities.
- Topo Chico Mineral Water: Chill before using. If you can’t find Topo Chico, another mineral or sparkling water will work.
- Tequila: I used 818 Blanco but any good quality tequila will work great.
- Pickles: Grab your favorite jar. I like the brands you find in the refrigerator at the store. I used Claussen pickles.
- Lime juice: Freshly squeezed is always best.
- Tajin: For the rim.

Substitutions & Variations
- Lime swap: Switch for lemon juice.
- Mocktail version: Leave out the tequila.
- Make it spicy: Use spicy pickle juice or add hot sauce or jalapeno slices. My Spicy Watermelon Ranch Water is also delicious.
