The Midnight Margarita is the perfect drink for spooky celebrations! This Halloween margarita comes together in just five minutes and is a fun, festive twist on the classic margarita with the addition of edible glitter and butterfly pea powder.
Recipe Ingredients

- Cointreau or Triple Sec
- Agave Nectar: You can also use honey or simple syrup
- Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice: Fresh squeezed is always best!
- Butterfly pea powder: This is optional but gives the drink its fun color. I used this one. Play with the quantity of powder to give the drink different looks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Butterfly pea tea has a subtle earthy flavor. It won’t add much taste to your cocktail but it does add a vibrant color. If you decide to leave it out, it’ll be a more traditional blackberry margarita.
I like to use a high quality blanco tequila, but feel free to try this with reposado or añejo.
It’s super easy, just set aside some time to make it! Slice a lime thinly. Place slices on a baking sheet. (Lowest oven temp, 2-4 hours) OR Place in a dehydrator. (125-135°F, 8-12 hours). Cool completely.
