Kiwi Crush Mocktail

I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to make a kiwi-based drink, and the instant I tasted Wilderton Citrus Aperitivo, I knew it was time. I recently mixed up a Cranberry Spritz Mocktail using Wilderton Bittersweet Apertivo and this kiwi mocktail is it’s brighter and lighter version.

This kiwi mocktail is sweetened with a little honey and balanced with some fresh lime juice. It comes together in minutes and is the perfect non-alcoholic sip for spritz season and beyond.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Wilderton Citrus Aperitivo: This non-alcoholic botanical spirit has bright citrus notes with hints of spice and herbal flavors. I love how its bitterness balances out the sweetness of the fruit and honey.
  • Kiwi: Choose ripe kiwi
  • Fresh Ginger: Adding fresh ginger adds warmth and a little punch. I suggest finely grating the ginger so it infuses the drink easily.
  • Honey: 100% pure honey is best. I used Local Hive Honey.
  • Lime juice: Fresh lime juice brightens the flavors. I recommend fresh, not bottled, for the best result.
  • Sparkling water: Chilled sparkling water tops up this drink. Seltzer, club soda or your unsweetened bubbly drink of choice will work.
  • Mint (for garnish): Fresh mint leaves are literally perfect in this kiwi mocktail.
  • Edible flower (for garnish): This is optional, but I love it as a pretty garnish – especially if you’re making it for a special occasion.

Sipping Tips & FAQs

Adjust sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter drink, add more honey or swap it for agave syrup.

What if I don’t have a cocktail shaker?
You can use a mason jar with a tight lid. Just add the ingredients, seal, and shake well.

Make Ahead Notes: It’s best served fresh, but you can prepare the kiwi, ginger, honey, and lime juice mixture in advance. Store it in the fridge and add seltzer and ice before serving.
