Looking for an easy eggnog cocktail that’s festive but doesn’t require any prep or fancy techniques? This Eggnog White Russian is my go-to. It’s rich, cozy and comes together right in the glass with just 3 ingredients, no shaker required.

This Eggnog White Russian is a festive variation of the classic White Russian cocktail. Traditionally made with vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream, this holiday version swaps the cream for eggnog, for a decadent seasonal eggnog cocktail. Serve it as a dessert cocktail after Christmas dinner, or line up a few glasses for guests.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Quick and easy: Made right in the glass with zero prep.
  • Classic holiday flavors: Eggnog and coffee liqueur create a cozy Christmas cocktail.
  • Only 3 ingredients: No syrups or infusions.
  • Perfect after-dinner drink: Rich and creamy without being overly sweet.

Recipe Ingredients

See the recipe card for quantities.

  • Vodka: Pick your favorite high quality vodka.
  • Coffee liqueur: I like Mr Black or Kahlua.
  • Eggnog: Use classic refrigerated eggnog, not eggnog liqueur. You can make your own homemade but it’s also great with premade. I used Organic Valley.
  • Pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon: For sprinkling on top.
  • Cinnamon stick and star anise: Optional, for garnish.
