I think it’s safe to assume we’re all ready to embrace 2021. A new year can be filled with new opportunities and fresh starts and that sounds very exciting after the tumultuous year of 2020. For New Year’s Eve, I’m planning to stay in and ring in the new year with Travis. With some help from Crate and Barrel I was able to decorate my space with some beautiful products and celebrate in style with the Winter Citrus Aperol Spritz! 

I was inspired by Crate and Barrel’s amazing glassware and decor to make a crowd-favorite cocktail. Cue the Winter Citrus Aperol Spritz! Enjoy this festive drink in the Pryce Gold Coupe Glass or the Edge White Wine Glass from Crate and Barrel for a more elegant look.

The Winter Citrus Aperol Spritz is a twist on the classic Aperol Spritz. It’s enhanced it with grapefruit soda for a burst of citrus flavors that will keep you wanting to celebrate all night long! The Italian Apéritif is light, bubbly, and designed to be easy to sip on.

My favorite part about this cocktail is how simple it is to make. Using only a few ingredients, most of which you may already have around your home during the holidays, you can create this vibrant and refreshing cocktail. All you have to do is combine grapefruit soda, Aperol, top with prosecco, and voila! 

It’s so simple and Crate and Barrel makes it even easier with their selection of premium products to accompany your festive drinks with. I love how well the vibrant color from the Winter Citrus Aperol Spritz fits in with my other decor from Crate and Barrel.

I dressed up my table with this circular patterned Orazi Table Runner and Orazi Napkins, handcrafted Agata Coasters, Agata Cheese Tools, and Agata Napkin Rings to give my area a sleek and stylish look. Using the Meringue Tealight Holders (in this color as well) and Virtuoso Tealight Holders I was able to fill in empty spots on my table and bar cart to achieve an easy, yet elegant tablescape with beautiful pops of colors.
