Sweet Crimson Citrus Cocktail
The Sweet Crimson Citrus Cocktail recipe post was made in partnership with Risata Wines. Recipe and ideas are my own.
Who else is ready for the days to start getting longer again?! It seems like every night I look out my window at 5:00 PM and it feels like 8:00 PM. All I want to do is curl up and go to bed, so I’m definitely ready for the sun to stay a little longer! I’m not sure why this time of the year still shocks me, but it feels like my body has a harder time adjusting every year.
So, if you’re looking for a way to brighten your evening, then sip on the Sweet Crimson Citrus Cocktail! You’ll love making this vibrant cocktail for the wintertime because it will literally lift your spirit during these shorter, darker days.
For this recipe, I partnered with Risata Wines and used their Moscato d’Asti mixed with gin, the juice from a blood orange, garnished with a blood orange wheel and rosemary sprig to make this cocktail. You may be familiar with Risata Wines from my previous blog posts featuring the Scarlet Cranberry Margarita and the New York Sour Fizz which included the Risata Scarlet and Risata Raven wines. I love creating simple yet delicious cocktails with Risata’s wines because they pair so nicely with a range of ingredients and add so much depth. Enjoy the Moscato in the Sweet Crimson Citrus Cocktail for a wintertime pick-me-up because this drink brings such warmth with its crimson hue and tastes so refreshing with the fusion of sweetness and citrus and a zesty finish!
In case you’re not in the mood to sip on a specialty cocktail, then enjoy the Risata Moscato d’Asti by itself and chilled for a sweet, fruit-forward experience. This Moscato is light, fragrant, and floral, so it pairs well with appetizers like a charcuterie board with meats and cheeses or a creamy, chocolaty dessert!
