‘Better Than Roses’ Kombucha Cocktail

Now that the craziness of Valentine’s Day has died down, I wanted to finally share this easy, three-ingredient cocktail I created for the occasion on the blog! Made with just gin, Campari, and strawberry kombucha, this cocktail isn’t just for Valentine’s – consider it a great drink for any date night in, especially one where you have your partner make the drinks for you!

This last Valentine’s, Travis and I decided to switch it up and have HIM make the drinks, instead of me. But he only agreed if I created the cocktail recipe for him. It turned out to be great teamwork, and we thoroughly enjoyed sipping on these while spending quality time together in our new house!

I love how this cocktail is insanely simple. Also, if you make cocktails often, chances are you already have the gin and Campari in your liquor cabinet, and all you need to do is grab some kombucha! My favorite brand is GTS Kombucha, but any strawberry flavor will do.

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer


  • 1 oz gin
  • ½ oz Campari
  • 4 oz strawberry kombucha


  • Add gin and Campari to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  • Strain into a coupe and top with strawberry kombucha.
  • Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy!
