Gin Watermelon Kombucha Crush

I like to think I’m Queen of something called “Lazy Girl Cocktails” and I have zero shame about it. Sometimes you just do not have time to create some extravagant cocktail for yourself, or even for the ‘gram. In my eyes, the best cocktails are the ones that take the least amount of effort, but still taste as good as the ones that take all the effort.

I’ve found that the key to making a good LGC (get it?) is quality ingredients and bold flavors. When you’re making a drink with something fresh, it makes all the difference and I can’t emphasize that enough!

Anyways, this Gin Watermelon Kombucha Crush is a perfect example of the LGC formula: a quality spirit plus bold flavors and voila! you have an amazing drink. This one combines floral gin with sparkling lemonade, watermelon juice, a little lime for tartness, and a splash of my favorite kombucha!

I used Gingerberry by GTS Kombucha, but feel free to experiment with other flavors and brands! I love making cocktails with kombucha because it makes them bubbly while imparting more flavor than soda water.

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • 3 oz sparkling lemonade
  • 2 oz watermelon juice
  • ¼ oz lime juice
  • 1 splash flavored kombucha (I used GTS Kombucha Gingerberry flavor)


  • Combine all ingredients except kombucha in a glass and stir.
  • Fill with crushed ice and top with kombucha.
