Lucky Charming Martini

Raise your hand if Lucky Charms cereal was a staple in your childhood! This tasty blend of Lucky Charms Infused Whiskey, Baileys Irish Cream, and a touch of matcha powder is a grown-up twist on a childhood favorite cereal.

Match powder not only adds a green tinge, but also an earthy and vibrant flavor to the martini, complementing the sweetness of the Lucky Charms Infused Whiskey and Baileys Irish Cream. The marshmallow rim adds a touch of magic to this spirited cocktail, making it a must-have for my St. Patrick’s Day sips!

Ingredients for the Lucky Charming Martini

  • Irish Whiskey: Irish whiskey brings a smooth and refined character to this St. Patrick’s Day libation. I like Jameson.
  • Lucky Charms Infused Whiskey: Green marshmallows from Lucky Charms cereal adds a sweet twist to the classic Irish whiskey.
  • Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur: Baileys brings a rich and creamy texture to the martini.
  • Matcha Powder: For a hint of earthy and vibrant green, matcha powder adds a unique flavor profile to the Lucky Charming Martini. I used Jade Leaf Matcha Organic Green Tea Powder.
  • Frosting: Choose your favorite frosting to enhance the presentation. I had Duncan Hines Fluffy White Whipped Frosting.
  • Lucky Charms cereal marshmallow: The iconic Lucky Charms marshmallow adds a whimsical touch to the rim and infuses the Irish whiskey!

How to Make the Lucky Charming Martini

Infusing the whiskey will take about 20-30 minutes, so be sure to make in advance of any St. Patty’s Day festivities!

Start by preparing the Lucky Charms Infused Whiskey. Remove all marshmallows except the green ones and cereal, and combine with Irish whiskey to infuse. After 20-30 minutes, strain the whiskey, discarding the solids.

Next, use a butter knife to spread frosting along the rim of a cocktail glass. Then adorn the rim with Lucky Charms marshmallows.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the Lucky Charms Infused Whiskey, Baileys Irish Cream, matcha powder, and ice. Shake vigorously until the mixture is well-chilled. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass before enjoying!

What type of glass should I use for the Lucky Charming Martini?

Choose any martini glass. I used this one from Crate & Barrel.

Matcha powder is a vibrant green tea powder made from finely ground, shade-grown green tea leaves. Matcha is often used to add a unique, earthy element to various culinary creations, including the Lucky Charming Martini.

What defines Irish whiskey?

Irish whiskey undergoes triple distillation, uses malted and unmalted barley, matures in wooden casks for three years, and has 40% ABV. Exclusively made in Ireland, these features define its smooth, distinctive flavor.
