Beat the winter blues with the Grapefruit Rose Mocktail Spritz! Made with fresh grapefruit juice, rosewater, fruit kombucha, and sparkling water.

Grapefruit Rose Mocktail Spritz

Winter can be a bit of a bummer, even in San Diego! Chilly days, short nights, and that constant sniffling. But before I go and hibernate for the next few months, I wanted to share the Grapefruit Rose Mocktail Spritz. Its bright flavors transport me to a sunny summer day with fresh squeezed grapefruit, a dash of rosewater, fruit kombucha, and sparkling water.

I love the versatility of this drink. I used guava dragon fruit kombucha and plain sparkling water, but feel free to mix and match with whatever flavors you enjoy most! Rosewater adds a touch of natural sweetness that balances the tartness of the grapefruit. The pretty grapefruit zest, dried rose petals, and sugar rim ties it all together!

Ingredients for the Grapefruit Rose Mocktail Spritz

  • Grapefruit Juice: Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice adds a vibrant and citrusy flavor.
  • Rosewater: A touch of rosewater adds a subtle floral note. I like Sadaf Rose Water.
  • Fruit Kombucha: Infuse the mocktail with tangy and probiotic-rich fruit kombucha. Choose your favorite flavor, I used Healthade Guava Dragon Fruit.
  • Sparkling water: Add a refreshing effervescence to the drink with crisp sparkling water. I had LaCroix on hand.
  • Grapefruit Zest, Dried Rose Petals, Sugar: Jazz up the presentation by rimming a glass with a blend of grapefruit zest, dried rose petals, and sugar.
  • Grapefruit Slice: Top with a slice of fresh grapefruit.

Bringing the Grapefruit Rose Mocktail Spritz to life is a breeze! Start by creating the rim for your glass. Combine grapefruit zest, dried rose petals, and sugar on a shallow dish. Rub a citrus slice along the side of the glass to wet it with juice, then dip it in the sugar mix until coated.

Next, fill the prepared glass with ice. Pour in the fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, sparkling water, a dash of rosewater, and the fruity kick of kombucha.

For the finishing touch, garnish the Grapefruit Rose Mocktail Spritz with a slice of grapefruit, adding a burst of color and a hint of extra citrusy goodness!
