The Beach Barbie Cocktail is made with vodka, elderflower liqueur, guava juice, lemon juice, sparkling water and just a touch of beet juice to give it the perfect pink hue. Even though the color of this cocktail is intense, the flavor is actual light and effervescent with floral notes from the elderflower liqueur.
Let’s get into the ingredients for this vibrant and tropical Beach Barbie Cocktail.
Elderflower liqueur is a floral liqueur made from the blossoms of the elderflower bush. It has a delicate, sweet flavor with a hint of citrus. Elderflower liqueur is often used in cocktails, but it can also be enjoyed on its own.
Let’s dive into crafting the Beach Barbie Cocktail!
Create a sparkling and sweet rim for the cocktail glass. Brush the rim with honey and dip it in pink sanding sugar. Now you’re ready to make the cocktail. Add vodka, elderflower liqueur, guava juice, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to your cocktail glass. Give it a gentle stir. For extra sparkle, sprinkle a pinch of pink edible glitter into the glass.
Fill the glass with ice cubes and pour sparkling water over the ice, filling the glass to the brim. For an optional burst of vibrant pink color, add bar spoon beet juice and give it a gentle stir. Garnish with an edible flower and a slice of lemon.
