I typically run cold, so this time of the year makes me want to stay inside and curl up on the couch, which usually leads to enjoying a specialty cocktail. For those of you that feel the same way, get cozy with the Arctic Mimosa and sip on a festive cocktail without leaving the comfort of your home!
And you can still be social and stay indoors. Invite a few friends over for a Sunday morning brunch or a Christmas movie marathon so everyone can relax with the Arctic Mimosa. It’s so easy to make and uses only a few ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. This cocktail tastes fruity and refreshing with a bubbly finish. Add a sugar rim and a pinch of luster dust for a festive touch, or enjoy it without for a simple cocktail.

Arctic Mimosa
Equipment
- 2 Small dishes
- 2 Champagne flutes
- Cocktail shaker
- Strainer
Materials
- ½ tbsp simple syrup for the rim
- ½ tbsp sanding sugar for the rim
- 1½ oz Kinky Blue Liqueur
- 1½ oz lemonade
- 1 cup champagne
- pinch of luster dust
Instructions
For the rim:
- Add simple syrup and sanding sugar to small dishes.
- Prepare 2 champagne flutes with a sparkling rim by submerging in simple syrup then sugar.
For the cocktail:
- Add Kinky Blue Liqueur, lemonade, luster dust and ice to a cocktail shaker and shake.
- Strain into your prepared flutes, dividing equally and top with champagne.
