The Apple Cider Moscow Mule is made with vodka, apple cider, ginger beer, lime and spiced bitters for the perfect fall cocktail!

If you have extra apple cider on hand, you’ll also want to try my Apple Cider Margarita (4-Ingredient Cocktail) and Apple Cider Hot Toddy (with Chai Tea).

The best thing about Fall (besides Halloween) is all the fun, seasonal cocktails you can make! It’s the best time to use cozy spices and ingredients like cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. I know it’s easy to get burnt out on pumpkin, so instead, I crafted a cocktail that packs a punch using apples! I will literally be sipping on this all season!

The Apple Cider Mule is my autumn version of a Moscow Mule. It gives you all the fall feels using just a few ingredients. It tastes sweet and refreshing, with a hint of spice on the end from the ginger beer and apple cider. If you’ve made any mules before, you know that it takes minimal effort to achieve an amazing taste, which allows for more time sipping and enjoying, and less time cleaning.

This seasonal batch cocktail will be a life-saver for your next fall gathering, Thanksgiving or football Sunday.

Recipe Ingredients

See the recipe card for quantities.

  • Vodka: Use your favorite high quality vodka.
  • Apple cider: I like using a cider with no added sugar. You can use regular or spiced cider.
  • Ginger beer: I love Q Mixers or Fever-Tree for bold, ginger flavor.
  • Limes: This batch drink includes sliced and juiced limes.
  • Spiced bitters: Look for something like cinnamon or allspice. This recipe is also great without bitters or with aromatic or citrus bitters instead.
  • Apples: Sliced apples are fun for presentation.
  • Cinnamon sticks: For garnish.
