This Elderflower Salty Dog recipe post was made in partnership with Kinky Beverages. Recipe and ideas are my own.

Does anyone else feel like they blinked and summer was over? We’re putting away our beach umbrellas and bringing out our fall decor while wondering, “where did the last few months go?” My favorite season has come and gone too soon and I’m sad to see it leave!

To hang on to these last few official days of summer I made a fun cocktail filled with some of my favorite ingredients – vodka, grapefruit, lime, and the Kinky Ruby Liqueur! I teamed up with Kinky Beverages to bring you the Elderflower Salty Dog! A twist on a classic cocktail made with just a few ingredients that pack a punch.

The Elderflower Salty Dog is full of flavor! Kinky Ruby gives it hints of grapefruit, kiwi, and of course, elderflower, while the fresh grapefruit juice adds some tartness and the salty, zesty rimmed glass really complements this refreshing cocktail.

If you feel like celebrating the start of the new season with a new cocktail (or saying farewell to the current one), then give the Elderflower Salty Dog a taste! It’s sweet, tart, and salty, hitting all of my favorite flavor notes with one sip. So that you don’t have to feel too salty that summer’s ending!

And if you aren’t already, definitely follow me on Instagram and Facebook, to make sure you never miss a recipe, get tons of behind the scenes pics of everything I’m shaking up, shooting and enjoying!
