Jump to RecipeThis refreshing and creamy Strawberry Creamsicle Cocktail combines the sweet and tangy flavors of strawberries, lime, and orange with the smoothness of Greek yogurt. It’s like a sippable dessert!
Fresh strawberries add a burst of natural sweetness and vibrant color, while 21 Seeds Valencia Orange tequila offers a smooth, citrusy base that complements the fruit perfectly. Triple sec enhances the orange flavor, but if you don’t have it on hand, Grand Marnier or Cointreau are great subs. Agave adds a touch of sweetness that balances out tangy Greek yogurt and zesty lime juice. While I recommend scraping vanilla bean paste out of a pod for the freshest flavor, pure vanilla extract works here too. Cheers!

Crafting this cocktail is quick, simple, and comes together in just 5 minutes!
Start by placing the strawberries into a cocktail shaker and muddle them until they are broken down to release their vibrant color and fresh flavor. Next, add the 21 Seeds Valencia Orange tequila, triple sec, agave, lime juice, Greek yogurt, vanilla bean paste, and orange blossom water into the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until the mixture is thoroughly chilled and well combined.
Then, strain the mixture into a cocktail glass. For an extra touch, garnish your drink with fresh strawberries and edible flowers!
Yes, you can sub agave with simple syrup or honey. Each will add a slightly different flavor profile, but all will work well to balance the tangy and creamy elements of the cocktail.
If you don’t have vanilla bean paste, vanilla extract is a great alternative. Use it in the same quantity to maintain the rich vanilla flavor.
To make the Strawberry Creamsicle Cocktail dairy-free, you can substitute the plain Greek yogurt with a dairy-free yogurt alternative, such as coconut or almond yogurt.
How do I get the vanilla bean paste out of the pod?
Start by laying the vanilla bean pod flat on a cutting board. Carefully use a sharp knife to slice it lengthwise, splitting it open to expose the seeds inside. Holding one end of the pod, use the back of the knife or a small spoon to scrape out the tiny black seeds, also known as the vanilla bean paste. Add these scraped seeds directly to your cocktail mix or any other recipe that calls for vanilla bean paste. The seeds hold the intense vanilla flavor, so a little goes a long way!
Orange blossom water can typically be found in the international or specialty foods section of most well-stocked grocery stores. You can also find it at Middle Eastern or Mediterranean markets, or Amazon.
