Ingredients for the Spiked & Spicy Hot Chocolate
- The Perfect Man Hot Chocolate Bomb: The highlight of this hot cocktail is definitely the man-shaped milk chocolate bomb. Grab yours today and make this delicious cocktail or gift it to your girls for the holiday.
- Milk: use your preferred milk or milk alternative. I personally enjoy using whole milk or 2% milk which gives this cocktail the perfect creaminess.
- Ground cinnamon: add in a dash of ground cinnamon to add some spice to this hot chocolate cocktail.
- Ground cayenne: add in a dash of ground cayenne for some heat (don’t add too much though because we want it to be just the perfect kick).
- Vanilla extract: use your preferred brand of pure vanilla extract or whatever you have in your spice cabinet. I actually used a homemade vanilla extract made by my family. But I also like this Simply Organic Pure Vanilla Extract which can be ordered online or picked up from the grocery store.
- Rum: Use your preferred brand of rum for this cocktail. I used Kasama Rum and I would recommend an aged rum that mixes well with the spice and creamy flavors.
- Whipped Cream: I used Reddi-wip to top this hot chocolate cocktail.
- Chocolate syrup: top with your favorite chocolate sauce, if desired. This Ghiradelli Sauce is AMAZING
- Sprinkles: optional but highly encouraged to top with some fun Valentines Day themed sprinkles. Try this option.

How to Make the Spiked & Spicy Hot Chocolate
The recipe is just like making your favorite hot chocolate but with an elevated twist. Start by pouring milk into a saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until heated, being careful not to burn the milk.
Next, add in the cinnamon, cayenne, and vanilla extract to a mug. Add the warm milk from the saucepan to the mug. Then, add the Perfect Man and allow him to melt. Once melted, add rum and stir. If desired, top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles.
