Tell Me More About Empress Gin

Empress 1908 Gin is hands down one of my favorite spirits. Between the taste and the exciting color, it’s always fun mixing with this bottle.

Empress 1908 Gin originates from the Victoria Distillers in British Columbia and it’s crafted with 8 botanicals including juniper, grapefruit peel, butterfly pea blossoms, and the Fairmont Empress Blend Tea in small batch copper-pots. Ingredients for the Empress Coconut Lychee Cocktail

  • Empress 1908 Gin: This botanical-forward gin adds a pop of color and fresh flavor. It’s made with 8 botanicals and micro-distilled in small-batch copper pots for a truly unique gin.
  • Canned lychees: This recipe uses syrup from a can of lychees for the cocktail and lychees for the garnish. You can use lychee juice as an alternative. I picked up a can from the grocery store or you can order it here online.
  • Coconut water: Pour in your favorite coconut water. I used Harmless Harvest Coconut Water.
  • Lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice is best for this drink. Lime or bottled lemon juice would also work to add tartness to this drink.
  • Edible flower, lemon slice: An edible flower and a lemon slice are the perfect garnish for this drink along with your lychees.

How to Make the Empress Coconut Lychee Cocktail

This cocktail could not be any easier to make! Start by adding the lychee syrup, coconut water, and lemon juice to a cocktail glass and stir to combine. Fill the glass with ice. Then, slowly pour the Empress 1908 Gin into the glass, so it layers above the cocktail. The last step is to garnish the delicious cocktail with a lemon slice, lychee, and edible flower. Stir your drink before enjoying it.

P.S elevate this drink with a cool glass! The one that I used is from Bomshbee and you can find it here!
