The Baby Blue Colada Mocktail is an elevated riff on a Virgin Piña Colada. It’s tropical, sweet, and blue! Made with DaVinci Gourmet’s Blue Raspberry Syrup, coconut milk, coconut water, pineapple juice, lime juice, and a pinch of nutmeg for a refreshingly, unique mocktail! Keep reading to see exactly what I used and how you can create one for yourself.
Throughout my pregnancy, I’ve been having so much fun mixing up a lot of mocktails, so what better way to reveal the gender of our baby than through a unique, non-alcoholic, and baby blue mixed drink?! The Baby Blue Colada Mocktail is getting me so excited to meet our baby boy! Cheers to that!
How To Incorporate Davinci Gourmet
For this tropical-inspired and baby blue-hued cocktail, it was important to use exciting ingredients like DaVinci Gourmet. They provide a ton of options to mix with and their product list includes (but is not limited to) syrups, sauces, and beverage blends which are ideal for your favorite cocktails and mocktails. Check out their product list here for more great mixers and blends, and learn more about DaVinci Gourmet’s story here!
I love the Blue Raspberry Syrup, not only because the blue hue reminds me of our baby boy, but because of the taste too! The Blue Raspberry syrup is tart and tangy. Plus, you can use this syrup to create bright, bold, and whimsical beverages for kids and adults. Two of my favorite syrups are the Blue Raspberry Syrup and Rose Syrup, and they’re not just for slushies. Get creative and add it to lemonades, smoothies, mocktails, and cocktails. Have fun making drinks with a splash of color and refreshing taste!

Ingredients for the Baby Blue Colada Mocktail
Here’s what I used to create this tasty, tropical, and blue mocktail:
- Blue Raspberry Syrup: pick up this syrup from your local Walmart and add a pop of blue to this delicious drink. The Blue Raspberry Syrup by DaVinci Gourmet is bright, slightly tart, and oh so tasty! Add just a little to make this drink stand out.
- Coconut milk: I used a splash of Silk Unsweetened Coconut Milk to add a bit of creaminess to this mocktail.
- Coconut water: to balance all of these flavors, I added in some Vita Coco Coconut Water. I enjoy the Vita Coco brand but any coconut water will do.
- Pineapple juice: for a taste of tropical sweetness, add in pineapple juice! I used Dole Pineapple Juice but you can also make your own using pineapple and a juicer.
- Lime juice: a squeeze of fresh lime juice adds some citrus notes that balance beautifully with the syrup and pineapple juice.
- Nutmeg: add in a pinch of ground nutmeg, I used McCormick Nutmeg, but any brand will suffice as long as it’s ground.
- Garnish: top this mixed drink with a pineapple slice, lime wheel, and edible flower for a finished look and tropical feel.

Tasty but I could not serve this, it looked unappetizing, the coconut milk separated so it was chunky.
Hi Elizabeth – I’m so sorry to hear yours turned out chunky! I used the kind of coconut milk that comes in a carton which is why mine turned out differently. If I’m using canned coconut milk, sometimes I have to blend the contents of the can before using it if it’s a brand that the solids and liquid are separate. I’ll add more notes to the recipe so no one else runs into this issue. Thanks for bringing it to my attention and I appreciate you trying my recipe!
