Strawberry Starlet Cocktail
The Strawberry Starlet Cocktail features Fruit Farm Strawberry Guava Wine, strawberries, bourbon, honey, and grapefruit juice for a modern twist on an old Hollywood classic cocktail.
I partnered with San Antonio Fruit Farms to create this Strawberry Starlet Cocktail for their “Pick Your Own” getaway Sweepstakes. Recipe and ideas are my own.
Jump to RecipeI crafted the Strawberry Starlet Cocktail with inspiration from my home state of California! This cocktail is a riff of the Brown Derby – a classic cocktail originating from Hollywood in the 1930s, made with bourbon, grapefruit juice and honey syrup.
To make this drink even more refreshing for summer sipping, I added fresh California strawberries and Fruit Farm Strawberry Guava wine. I topped it off with a sprinkle of edible glitter for some added Hollywood glamor!
San Antonio Fruit Farm is a staple in my summertime cocktails! Their wines offer the most unique and drinkable, semi-sparkling sweet wines with three different varietals: Strawberry Guava, Peach Passion Fruit, and Blackberry Orange. I love that I can mix and match to create refreshing drinks all year long! Check out their selection here.
This wine is special because it’s crafted with whole fruits and no artificial additives. They are also low in ABV, vegan-friendly, and gluten-free! Crafted by a team of female winemakers in Italy, San Antonio Fruit Farm offers delicious blends and flavors that are perfect for summertime or anytime sipping. Let’s mix up this fun cocktail! Start by hulling and dicing the fresh strawberries. Add the strawberries and honey to a cocktail shaker and muddle the two together to release their flavors. Next, pour in your favorite bourbon, grapefruit juice, and ice and shake until chilled.
Fill a cocktail glass with ice and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass. Add a dash of edible glitter and Fruit Farm Strawberry Guava Wine. Give it a gentle stir. Garnish your Strawberry Starlet Cocktail with slices of strawberries, a grapefruit slice, and a few delicate edible flowers before enjoying!
