Oz-mopolitan (Wicked-Inspired Cocktail)
The Oz-mopolitan is a Wicked-inspired cocktail that is a riff on a cosmopolitan made with gin, cranberry and lime juice and Cointreau. The pink cotton candy and glitter make this cocktail a showstopper.

I crafted this Wicked-inspired riff on a Cosmopolitan to celebrate the premiere of the highly anticipated Wicked movie. I swapped out the vodka for gin and added pink edible glitter and cotton candy to this gin Cosmopolitan to go with the theme.
It’s perfect to enjoy with friends before heading out to the movies. You can easily remove the alcohol, add more ice, and make mocktail versions for any non-drinkers. The cotton candy will still react with lime juice and do its thing. The cranberry flavor in this recipe means it’ll also work during the festive season as well!

For the most refreshing cocktail, keep all the ingredients in the fridge until just before mixing. Other than the candy floss and glitter, that’s it.
For a more traditional cosmopolitan, opt for vodka or citron vodka.
You can make this recipe up to 24 hours ahead of serving it. To do this, mix the gin, Cointreau, lime, and cranberry juice and keep this mix in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
If you have some leftover cocktail, pop it into an airtight container, keep it in the fridge, and it will last for 1 day. Keep in mind that the cocktail’s flavor might be less punchy the next day. Remember to mix it before using it again.
Side note: Don’t store leftover cocktail with ice. The ice will dilute the drink. Add fresh ice rather, just before serving.
