No Fig Deal (Fig + Vodka Cocktail)

no fig deal cocktail

This National Vodka Day Cocktail: “No Fig Deal” recipe post was made in partnership with PAU Maui Vodka. Recipe and ideas are my own.

These days there seems to be a national holiday for anything and everything, which is fine because I’m always down for a celebration. But while I love taking advantage of any random occasion to eat tacos or pizza, my favorite national holiday just might be National Vodka Day. Every year on October 4, vodka lovers take a full 24 hours to honor their prized liquor, and this year I have the perfect way to celebrate: a delicious sparkling fig and vanilla bean vodka cocktail!

I call this cocktail the “No Fig Deal,” and I used PAU Maui Vodka to bring this National Vodka Day cocktail to life. Pau Maui is one of my favorites for making cocktails because the flavor is extraordinary. They actually make PAU Maui Vodka from pineapple, which gives it a clean and slightly fruity flavor. It’s delicate enough that it mixes in beautifully with any flavor I pair with it, but bold enough to hold its own in a drink.

It was only right that I use figs in this recipe given it’s currently peak fig season a.k.a. the best season of the year! If you’ve never tried fig in a cocktail, this is your lucky day because figs + vodka = a match made in heaven! I hope you enjoy this year’s National Vodka Day. If you end up celebrating with this “No Fig Deal” cocktail, make sure to share on social and tag me!
