Green Juice Margarita

This Green Juice Margarita recipe post was made in partnership with Cocalero. Recipe and ideas are my own.

These days it seems like the terms “balance” and “self-care” are being thrown around a bunch, especially on social media. If you go on Instagram, you can see a thousands of wellness bloggers pontificating on what these words mean to them. A lot of times you’ll see people going to yoga, meditating, drinking green juice. But in the end of the day, it’s really about finding what works for you.

In case you were wondering, what works for me is MARGARITAS…with a hint of health. This Green Juice Margarita is the perfect drink to whip up for you and a friend when you just can’t even anymore. I love this drink because it is well-balanced in the actual literal sense.

For this drink, I paired tequila with Cocalero, an herbal spirit hailing from the Andes. If you’ve never tried Cocalero, it’s a super flavorful mixture of botanicals including ginseng, juniper, orange, and more. It really adds a lot of depth in this recipe, and is only amplified by fresh green juice, lime for a little acidity, and agave for a hint of sweetness.
