Blend up the most refreshing frozen pineapple margarita this summer. Featuring pineapple, coconut milk, lime juice, agave syrup, and Tanteo Tequila! The Frozen Dole Whip Margarita is bright, sweet, and so refreshing. See what I used to whip it up and recreate it for yourself this season.
It’s time to whip it! Whip it good! To make the Frozen Dole Whip Margarita all you need is a blender, frozen pineapple, canned coconut milk, lime juice, agave, and of course an amazing tequila! I used Tanteo Blanco Tequila because I love how smooth this spirit is. It’s perfect for mixing in your fav tequila-based cocktails like Palomas, blending up in a delicious frozen margarita, or just sipping solo.
Tips For Making The Best Frozen Drink
Use premium ingredients: to make your frozen drinks taste top tier, I suggest using a quality liquor like Tanteo Tequila! Sourced sustainably at every step of the process, this tequila is truly something special. Click here to learn more about their story and don’t forget to test out all the Tanteo Tequila flavors like Tanteo Jalapeno or Tanteo Habanero.
Keep your fruit frozen: to get that velvety, smooth-texture use frozen fruit. You can either buy a bag of frozen fruit from your local grocery store or buy it whole, cut it up, and freeze it for a few hours, either way, it will elevate your frozen mixed drink.
Crushed ice is ideal: for blending, using crushed ice is best because it breaks down faster and it’s overall just easier to blend while giving you that perfect texture.
Blend, blend, blend away: using a powerful, high-speed blender like this Ninja Blender (or this Nutribullet for a single serving) will whip up your frozen drink in no time!
Ingredients for the Frozen Dole Whip Margarita
Frozen pineapple: for this recipe, I used frozen pineapple from the grocery store. This makes it so much easier to prep and make. But of course feel free to buy a whole pineapple, cut it and freeze it to use as well.
Tanteo Blanco Tequila: add in your premium tequila, I love using Tanteo Blanco Tequila for my margaritas and you can purchase this brand online here. This brand is focused on providing a quality product through sustainable efforts which support their local community.
Canned coconut milk: I just used this brand of canned coconut milk from Whole Foods. But any brand will work as long as it’s canned coconut milk.
Lime juice: of course no margarita is complete without a squeeze of fresh lime juice, you can also use bottled lime juice too.
Agave: I love the subtle sweet taste of agave but feel free to substitute this ingredient for simple syrup, sugar, or honey syrup.
Kosher salt and chili powder: for the rim, use these two ingredients. Mix them together really well in a shallow dish for a balanced taste.
Pineapple wedge, pineapple frond, lime wheel: for the garnish, add a pineapple wedge, pineapple frond, and lime wheel if desired.
How to Make the Frozen Dole Whip Margarita

Add kosher salt and chili powder to a shallow dish and combine. Run a lime wedge around the rims of your cocktail glasses to moisten and submerge the rim of the glass into the chili salt mixture until coated all the way around.
