How to Make the Berry Rosé Sangria

To make the Berry Rosé Sangria, grab your pitcher and add some berries (I used blackberries, raspberries and strawberries), fresh grapefruit slices and your favorite elderflower liqueur – I used Fiorente Elderflower Liqueur. Mix these ingredients together and gently muddle with a wooden spoon to release some of the juices from the fruit. If you have a few minutes, I recommend allowing these juices to really infuse together before adding the other ingredients. After that, add in your favorite rosé wine, grapefruit soda, ice and stir. Divide into your cups, making sure to get some fruit in each cup and garnish with some fun edible flowers! It’s that simple!

Tips!

  • If you are preparing the Berry Rosé Sangria in advance, add all the ingredients EXCEPT the grapefruit soda to the pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve. Add grapefruit soda right before serving to your guests. This keeps the sangria fresh and bubbly!
  • If you want to get the best experience out of your Ball Aluminum Cup here’s a pro-tip – make sure to chill your Ball Aluminum Cups ahead of time to amplify the coldness of your mixed drinks
  • No problem if you don’t have elderflower liqueur! You can replace elderflower liqueur with orange liqueur, raspberry liqueur, rum, bourbon or brandy.

What is the Best Rosé for Sangria?

Because this recipe has some bold flavors, you want to choose a full-flavored rosé to match. When making sangria, there’s no need to use expensive wine. I tend to grab a bottle that’s less than $20 and has a little bit of sweetness. Some great options to look out for are Pinot Noir Rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé or Tempranillo Rosé.

Why Aluminum Cups?

Ball Aluminum Cups are 100% recyclable aluminum cups that effortlessly elevate any gathering without the clutter of those pesky plastic cups.

And when the party’s over, there is no clean up! You simply recycle the cups like you would with other aluminum cans. So, you can enjoy the minimal clean-up efforts and dishwashing duties that everyone typically loathes.

Did you know that aluminum can be recycled an infinite number of times without losing quality?! In fact, 75% of aluminum ever produced is still in use today! Other materials have to be downcycled and eventually become waste or low-value products. But after being used, an aluminum cup can be recycled and returned as part of a new aluminum product in just 60 days! This means that Ball Aluminum Cups are a wayyyyy better value – sustainably and economically. Watch Ball Aluminum Cups revolutionary recycling process for more information!
