If your tastebuds need a break from all the holiday cocktails, here’s a light and delicious mixed drink for your next happy hour! The Apple Kombucha Crush packs a lot of flavor in a short glass.

For this cocktail, I used a ginger kombucha mixed with maple syrup, fresh lemon juice, apple slices, and Frankly Organic Apple Vodka. Together, this creates a bright cocktail composed of just a few ingredients. I also incorporated a cinnamon-sugar rim for a seasonal taste that pairs well with the sweet and acidic flavors from the cocktail. But feel free to just mix, pour, garnish, and serve as you desire!

Kombucha is one of my favorite mixers to use in cocktails because it has such a unique taste and marries well with a range of liquors, like vodka. If I’m not sipping on a cocktail, then I’m usually drinking kombucha. In this case, I decided to add it to my cocktail for a refreshingly fun and healthy-ish drink! But, the Frankly Organic Apple Vodka is really the star of the show, made with organic vodka, organic apples, organic ginger root, warming spices, lemon, a tad of wild cherry bark, and a touch of sweetness. It’s a blend of goodness that leaves you feeling good, too, because you know exactly what you’re putting in your body!

  • Shallow dish
  • Glass
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer


  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • tsp sugar
  • lemon slice
  • oz Frankly Organic Apple Vodka
  • ½ oz maple syrup
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3 oz ginger kombucha
  • ¼ apple, sliced
  • sage for garnish


  • For the rim, add cinnamon and sugar to a shallow dish. Use a lemon slice to coat the rim of your glass. Dip rim into the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated.
  • Add Frankly Organic Apple Vodka, maple syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake.
  • Strain into prepared glass over fresh ice. Add apple slices.
  • Top with ginger kombucha and stir. Garnish with fresh sage.
