Mocktails and Low-ABV Cocktails
It’s National Mocktail Week which appropriately falls during Dry January. I never personally like fully cutting myself off of anything – especially booze, chocolate or cheese. But I can definitely get on board with saving a little money after the holidays and kickstarting some healthy habits. Whether or not you are participating in Dry January, there is definitely less risk of derailing your diet or accidentally spending your whole paycheck on shots (not that I’ve ever done that) if you’re enjoying more beverages at home. And evidenced by the gym attendance already beginning to taper off, mid January is when sticking to your January 1 vows starts to become tough. That’s why I know you probably need some awesome recipes to keep you on track. So these are some of my favorite mocktails and Low-ABV cocktails because sometimes less can be more. Not always. But sometimes.
This juniper cucumber mocktail is made for you gin and tonic lovers. The juniper simple syrup add depth to this simple sipper and I swear you’ll barely even notice the gin’s missing.
This refreshing mocktail features mint, kiwi and lime. It’s the perfect booze-free drink if you love a mojito.
This low-proof cocktail lacks in ABV but is definitely not missing any flavor. The spiced liqueur pairs perfectly with the fresh citrus and citrus kombucha!
This low-proof cocktail is almost too pretty to drink. That’s because the butterfly pea tea and pink coconut water blend to make the most gorgeous shade of purple. If you’re looking for a low-ABV cocktail you can feel good about drinking, this one checks all the boxes.
