The Caffè Caffè recipe post was made in partnership with Romana Sambuca. Recipe and ideas are my own.
Jump to RecipeCoffee cocktails have ‘bean’ my favorite lately! And the Caffè Caffè is at the top of my list for a coffee cocktail to sip on this summer! I’m not sure if it’s the burst of energy, the creaminess of different textures blended together beautifully, the smoothness of the drink, or if it’s all of the above. I highly recommend trying the Caffè Caffè for your next Saturday brunch date or get-together for a little afternoon pick-me-up! The best part? You can make this cocktail in under five minutes and enjoy it from the comfort of your own home.
I love how simple this recipe is! Seriously, five ingredients for a cocktail with so much depth. All you have to do is combine Romana Sambuca Caffè, bourbon, cold brew, and ice into a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously or until the outside of the shaker is chilled. Strain the mixture into your cocktail glass over fresh ice.
In a separate small bowl, lightly whip some heavy cream (you can use a hand frother, hand mixer, or a whisk). Once the cream is mixed to your preferred consistency, top your coffee cocktail with it. And of course, no coffee cocktail is complete without a sprinkle of cinnamon on top!
Sidenote – if you want to make your Caffè Caffè a little sweeter or more decadent, feel free to add a drizzle of caramel or mix in a little vanilla with your heavy whipping cream. But honestly, this cocktail is so delicious just the way it is. I promise, you’ll be making it over and over again for your family and friends that are old enough to enjoy it!
I don’t typically see too many coffee cocktails on restaurant menus when I’m out to brunch, so the Caffè Caffè is one of my favorites to make for my husband and friends too! Plus, he’s the bourbon fan in our family and requests this one often, so you know it’s husband-approved!
I also like to make the Caffè Caffè for Saturday Brunch or for an afternoon happy hour. There’s nothing better than getting the gang together on the weekends and watching everyone enjoy this cocktail. It’s like the moment the Caffè Caffè hits your lips, you feel invigorated and ready to seize the day. It’s also perfect for a sweet after-dinner treat.
For a simple yet luxurious coffee cocktail, grab these ingredients and mix up your very own Caffè Caffè!
Romana Sambuca Caffè is a specialty Italian espresso blended with the best Sambuca finishes with a lightly sweetened taste to create a delicious liqueur. It’s the perfect liqueur to add to your concoctions because it adds such a unique flavor. My favorite part about Romana Sambuca is adding it to a plethora of refreshments for a different experience each time! And the Caffè Caffè is no exception. The Romana Sambuca mixed with a shot of bourbon, some cold brew, cream, and cinnamon makes a magical cocktail! This specialty liqueur complements the bold bourbon and bitter cold brew for a unique taste that’s bold but not too overpowering. Check here to see if you can get it delivered to your doorstep.
