Blackberry Ginger Sour
They say not to mess with a classic but I couldn’t help but add blackberries and ginger to my whiskey sour.

Blackberry Ginger Sour
Ingredients
Blackberry Ginger Sour
- 3 blackberries
- ½ oz ginger honey simple syrup
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 oz whiskey
- 1 egg white
Honey Ginger Simple Syrup
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup water
- ⅓ cup minced fresh ginger
Instructions
Blackberry Ginger Sour
- Muddle blackberries and ginger honey simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake for 20 seconds. Add ice and shake until the cocktail shaker is chilled on the outside. Double strain into a glass with ice.
Honey Ginger Simple Syrup
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Strain into a jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
