Cucumber, basil and ginger make this one acceptable for a weekday. If you don’t have a ginger shrub, sub in ginger syrup or agave and fresh muddled ginger.

Add cucumber, basil and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and gently muddle. Add ginger shrub, gin and ice. Shake for 30 seconds and strain over crushed ice.⠀
