This summer cocktail captures the essence of the Amalfi Coast, combining limoncello with prosecco, peach nectar and
What I love about the Amalfi Spritz is its balanced flavor profile. It’a a perfect blend of sweet and tart, with the flavor of limoncello adding a zesty kick. Peach nectar brings a subtle sweetness that complements the citrus notes, making for a refreshing drink that takes me right back to Italy!
Creating the Amalfi Spritz takes just 5 minutes! Start by filling a wine glass (I like these wine glasses) with ice cubes. Next, pour in the limoncello and peach nectar, followed by the prosecco. Stir gently to combine the flavors, then add a splash of sparkling water to lighten the drink and enhance its bubbles!
For garnish, add a slice of lemon (or a slice of orange for a bittersweet note), peach slide, and a fresh mint sprig. Top with an edible flower for the perfect finishing touch before serving immediately!
Limoncello is smooth and sweet with a strong lemon and lemon peel flavor and aroma. It is more sweet than tart but also has a brightness from the citrus flavors.
Look for peach juice or peach puree as an alternative to peach nectar. You can also use fresh muddled peaches in this spritz, just make sure to use a sturdy stemless wine glass.
Yes! For a non-alcoholic version of the Amalfi Spritz, use peach nectar, sparkling water, non-alcoholic prosecco and fresh lemon juice. Combine all the ingredients in a wine glass.
