This Tequila Painkiller is a rosy-hued cocktail ideal for a holiday girls’ night or a tropical-themed Christmas party! Coconut, blood orange, pineapple, and nutmeg blend perfectly with the rich, burnt caramel flavor in the Lobos 1707 Reposado Tequila.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Reposado tequila I used Lobos 1707 Reposado Tequila
  • 3/4 oz Blood orange juice
  • 2 oz Pineapple juice
  • 1 oz Cream of coconut
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Shredded coconut for rim
  • Blood orange slice for garnish
  • Mint sprig for garnish
  • Cranberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Add shredded coconut to a shallow dish. Moisten the rim of a cocktail glass. Submerge in the coconut until the rim is coated.
  • Add tequila, blood orange juice, pineapple juice, cream of coconut and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until chilled.
  • Strain cocktail into the prepared glass with fresh ice. Top with freshly grated nutmeg. If desired, garnish with a blood orange slice, mint sprig and cranberries.
