Add a little sparkle and spirit to your holidays with my Frostbite Christmas Margarita. Made with tequila, simple syrup, pomegranate juice, lime juice, rosemary and egg white, this festive tequila Christmas cocktail will become your next holiday tradition!
Prepare glass - combine salt and sugar. Run a lime around the rim of a cocktail glass. Dip in salt mixture until rim is coated.
To a cocktail shaker- add rosemary, sugar and hot water. Muddle to dissolve sugar and release rosemary oils. Add tequila, pomegranate juice, lime juice and egg white.
Dry shake (without ice) vigorously until foamy. Add ice and shake until well chilled.
Strain into your prepared glass over fresh ice. If desired, garnish with a lime slice, rosemary and pomegranate seeds.

The egg white is optional in this recipe but is a nice addition to give the cocktail a velvety feel and fluffy foam.
To make for a group, eliminate the rosemary and multiply the recipe. Add all ingredients to a blender with 2-3 pieces of ice and pulse until all is blended and the mixture is chilled and foamy. Serve immediately over ice.
