15ozcanned black beans(drained, rinsed, and patted dry)
¼cupchunky salsa
¼cupwhole wheat breadcrumbs
½cupground walnuts
½tspcumin
1tspchili powder
1 tspgarlic powder
salt(to taste)
1tbsp olive oil

Instructions
Mash black beans in a medium bowl with a fork until they are mostly broken up but there are still some whole beans visible.
Add all remaining ingredients, except olive oil, and stir to combine. Form into 4 patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 5 minutes on the first side then flip carefully and cook another 5 minutes or until the burgers are heated through.
Serve on a heated bun with all of your favorite burger fixings. Enjoy!
