Harvest Apple (Apple Cider Whiskey Cocktail)

Ingredients
  

For the Cocktail

  • 1 1/2 oz whiskey
  • 1 1/2 oz spiced cider
  • 3/4 oz oat milk
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz brown sugar syrup
  • Caramel sauce, for rim
  • Apple ghost, for garnish
  • Pumpkin pie spice

Apple Ghost

  • 1 large apple

Brown Sugar Syrup

  • 1 part brown sugar
  • 1 part boiling water

Instructions
 

For the Cocktail

  • Add caramel to a shallow dish. Submerge a coupe glass in the caramel to coat the rim.
  • Add whiskey, spiced cider, oat milk, lemon juice, brown sugar syrup and ice to a cocktail shaker and shake until chilled.
  • Strain cocktail into the prepared cocktail glass. Garnish with apple ghost. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice.

For the Brown Sugar Syrup

  • Combine 1 part brown sugar with 1 part boiling water and stir until dissolved. Cool before using.

For the Apple Ghost

  • Cut a thin slice from a large apple. Use a paring knife to carefully cut out a ghost shape. Use a straw to cut out eyes and mouth.
