Guava Caipirinha (Brazilian Cachaca Cocktail)
This Guava Caipirinha is a bright, tropical cocktail made with fresh lime, cachaca and guava nectar. It comes together in just 5 minutes and is so refreshing. It’s perfect for summer parties, happy hour or when you want an easy cocktail with fruity flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 small lime washed and cut into wedges
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 oz cachaca
- 1 oz guava nectar
- Mint dehydrated lime and edible flowers, for garnish
Instructions
- To a cocktail glass, add lime wedges and sugar. Muddle firmly to release juices from the lime and dissolve the sugar.
- Fill the glass with ice. Add cachaça and guava nectar and stir to combine and dilute.
- If desired, garnish with mint, dehydrated lime and edible flowers.
Notes
- Go for juicy limes: Smooth-skinned limes usually contain more juice.
- Muddle firmly: Press enough to release the citrus oils and juices.
- Adjust sweetness to taste: Guava nectars can vary in sweetness, so taste and tweak if needed.
