If you’re looking for a fresh and easy cocktail, this elderflower grapefruit spritz is it. Made with fresh grapefruit juice, elderflower liqueur and prosecco, it’s light, bubbly and comes together in just a couple of minutes.
Grapefruitedible flowers and strawberry, optional for garnish
Instructions
Fill a wine glass with ice. Add elderflower liqueur, grapefruit juice, prosecco and a splash of sparkling water. Stir to combine.
If desired, garnish with dehydrated citrus and thyme
Notes
This spritz is so easy to make and I love the way the sweet floral notes of elderflower balance the tart bitterness of grapefruit juice.
For a festive Valentine’s Day touch, add edible glitter and garnish with a strawberry heart.
Use Fresh Grapefruit Juice: For the best flavor in your Grapefruit Spritz.
Adjust Sweetness: By scaling the elderflower.
Mocktail version: Replace prosecco with non-alcoholic prosecco (I love Mionetto) or extra sparkling water and swap elderflower liqueur for elderflower syrup or cordial.
