Ingredients

  • Pie crust dough
  • 4 cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup
  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon
  • 1/2 oz amaretto
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • Dash vanilla bean paste or pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Roll out pie crust on a cutting board. Use a star cookie cutter to cut the dough into stars. Place stars on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 6 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
  • Add cherries and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker and muddle until broken down. Add bourbon, amaretto, lemon juice, vanilla bean paste and ice. Shake until chilled.
  • Strain mixture into a coupe glass. Garnish with a pie crust star.
