Gently press cloves into half an orange. Add cranberry juice, honey, cinnamon sticks and orange half to a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add 1 1/2 oz whiskey and 1/2 oz Malabar Spiced Liqueur to each mug. Top off with a scoop of hot cranberry juice and garnish with orange slices, star anise, cinnamon sticks and cranberries.
