Mint and chocolate is my absolute favorite flavor combination. And what better way to celebrate than by making a cocktail with the two! Plus, my friends at Boann Distillery in Ireland just released their Whistler Whiskey to the United States!

This Grasshopper cocktail is perfect for St. Paddy’s Day, which is coming up soon! But the truth is, you can drink this any day of the year.

‘Whistling Grasshopper’ Irish Cream Cocktail

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Coupe

Materials

  • 2 oz The Whistler Whiskey Irish Cream
  • 1 ½ oz Crème de menthe
  • ½ oz amaro
  • shaved chocolate (for garnish)
  • 1 sprig fresh mint (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Add The Whistler Irish Cream, Crème de Menthe and Amaro to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously.
  • Strain into a coupe. Top with shaved chocolate and garnish with a mint leaf.
